For our client in the aeronautics field, our team sets up, maintains, and supports Linux servers and workstations. They are used as test means for the development and test of avionic systems (embedded electronics). As a Linux System Administrator, you are responsible for one or more of the following tasks: 

• Your main tasks include the installation and configuration of workstations and servers
• You automate your procedures to ensure reliability and reproducibility 
• You propose and develop a monitoring system to detect failures ASAP 
• Investigation and solving problems on the workstations and servers are also part of your tasks
• You propose and set up a robust long-term solution 
• Finally, you will also support and train the users to help them make the best usage of the workstations

• You have finished a bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, System Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a similar field 
• You have a good knowledge of system architecture or industrial IT 
• Sound working experience with Linux systems is also part of your profile
• You have a basic knowledge in at least one programming language (Python, C/C++, Bash) 
• You are familiar with one or more database languages (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) 
• A very good command of English is essential in this international environment. German and/or French are a plus
