• 86609 – Donauwörth (Bayern)

You will work together with the customer for the department “System Test and Rigs Germany” at the customer Test Center (part of the Design Office) in Donauwörth. Your work will concentrate on “Integration and System Test” activities of a Helicopters Group in Germany.

The main activities within the department are:

• to define, set up and execute the verification / integration test plan applicable for different helicopter systems (mainly avionics)
• to define, upgrade and maintain the Rigs and Benches needed to perform the System Tests, including the necessary tools (software and/or test equipment)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Direct communication with the Test Teams within the department to establish equipment and configuration needs
• Identify needs for additional capacity and coordinate necessary maintenance
• Coordinate with Purchasing team / suppliers to request for available production stock for potential rig use (manage temporary loans from Final Assembly Line stocks)
• Communicate proposals for equipment repair, maintenance, retrofit from suppliers, and replacement
• Coordinate with the involved parties for a timely equipment delivery
• Follow-up on logistics (incoming/outgoing equipment), export control, etc.
• Harmonize budget needs with relevant Project responsibility

• Preparation of Test Rig in a requested configuration
• Software loading of avionic equipment
• Exchange/installation of Hardware/Avionic equipment in Test Rigs
• Documentation of Rig Configuration, maintain Log Cards in accordance with the defined processes
• Responsible for validation of Rig configuration with QA in preparation for formal tests

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical / Aerospace / Telecommunications Engineering or any relevant Engineering Field
• Experience in Electrics and wiring diagrams
• Good knowledge of Software / Hardware / Avionic equipment
• Rig equipment management
• Fluency in English is a must. German is nice to have
• Experience working on military projects is a plus
