Within our business segment Aerospace, we are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager (m/f/d) interested in the planning, structuring and follow-up of all activities related to the testing of the helicopter avionics system of one of our clients. As an assistant project manager (m/f/d), you are helping the Project Manager and the Project Director in the execution of the following tasks: 

• Plan, follow and report the advancement of the different activities 
• Ensure transparent and regular communication within the teams and with the customers 
• Manage risks and opportunities on technical, project and commercial levels 
• Manage the skills of the teams and organize actions to fill the gaps in cooperation with the technical leaders 
• Help the teams in improving their structures and organizations 
• Organize KPIs and follow-up, propose corrective measures to improve quality and efficiency 

Hard skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aeronautics, Aerospace, System, Software Engineering or in a similar Engineering Field 
• Good knowledge of system engineering and testing 
• Basic understanding of avionics and its architecture inside an aircraft 
• Basic knowledge of the V-cycle and its different steps 
• Ideally you have experience as a software architect, software developer, simulation engineer or test engineer 
• You speak fluently English. German and/or French are a plus 
• Experience on military projects is a plus 

Soft skills:

• You have an excellent sense of organization and strategy 
• Excellent communication skills both with customers and the teams 
• You know how to prioritize and how to delegate 
• You know how to motivate the teams and help them achieve efficiency together 
• Able to work under temporary pressure during blocking issues
