To strengthen our Airworthiness Office in Gilching (Bavaria), we are looking for a qualified Certification Engineer (m/f/d), who enjoys working on exciting and varied projects in an international aerospace environment. Arbeitsort

• 82205 – Gilching (Bayern)

• Co-ordination and oversight of all tasks related to type Investigation in concurrence with internal stakeholders and the competent authority
• Advising of all departments of the design organisation in all questions regarding airworthiness, operational suitability, environmental protection approvals and certification
• Preparation of the Certification Programme in close cooperation with the engineering department, the compliance verification engineers and the competent authority
• Checking that all compliance documents are prepared as necessary to demonstrate compliance with the certification programme and release of the documents
• Execute internal design organisation training regarding design assurance system and regulations
• Monitoring of rulemaking activities and incorporation of regulatory changes to the design organisation manual, procedures, and forms
• Support of activities related to continued airworthiness
• Participation in design organisation management and audits

• Master’s degree in aeronautical engineering or comparable technical qualification
• Proven track record as airworthiness office engineer
• Sound knowledge in the field of changes to type-certificate of aircraft
• Thorough knowledge of EASA Part-21 as well as the various certification specifications
• Conscientious and detail-oriented way of working
• Very good command of English language. German language skills are welcome
• Team player with strong communication skills
